Which Advisor Should I Meet With?
All advisors can provide general advice on different program types and funding opportunities available to students.HOWEVER, each Advisor primarily works with certain program types, and can therefore provide specifics on their own programs. When possible, we encourage students to meet with the appropriate Advisor.
To find out who your EA Advisor is, please check your program’s webpage in Via and meet with the Primary Contact listed.
Student Initiated
The Student Initiated Team can provide specifics on Affiliate Provider, Exchange, Student Group, Transfer Credit Group, Independent Experiences, and non-credit bearing programs. They oversee all program types not led by TAMU faculty.
Faculty Led
The Faculty Initiated Team oversees programs led by a TAMU faculty, such as faculty-led and academic field trip programs. Each Advisor has a set portfolio of programs, so we recommend trying to meet with your specific program Advisor.
